1. Course enrolment and paymentEnrolment: To enrol in a course, you can fill out the form or email us an
expression of interest and submit the required payment upfront.
Course levels: Each course level runs for 8 weeks, 2 hours per week.
Levels include:
- Beginner: level 1, level 2, level 3, level 4
- Pre-intermediate: level 1, level 2, level 3, level 4
- Intermediate: level 1, level 2, level 3, level 4
Course fee: The fee for the 8 week course is $350. This fee covers all lessons and course materials. Payments must be made in full before the first class to secure your place.
Payment methods: Payments are accepted via bank transfer or cash.
2. Class scheduleClass times: The class duration is 2 hours, with a 5-minute break in the middle. Classes run from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Location: Classes will take place at 143 Lawson Street, Redfern NSW 2016.
Course materials: All necessary course materials, including handouts and learning resources, will be provided. Students are only required to bring a pen and notebook.
3. Absence and missed classesAbsences: Missed classes will not be refunded. We kindly ask students to take responsibility for their attendance. However, in the case of classes having been missed by the student, a private catch-up lesson may be arranged at a cost of $30 per hour.
In the case of a teacher’s absence, another teacher will be assigned without notice.
Materials for missed classes: If you miss a class, we will provide you with the materials from that session.
4. Cancellation and refund policyCourse cancellation by student: If you decide to cancel your enrolment, please notify us via email at least 7 business days before the course starts. Cancellations made after this period will not be refunded.
Course cancellation by us: The class requires a minimum of three students to proceed. If the minimum is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the course or offer an alternative. If we need to cancel a course, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule.
5. Class rescheduling or postponementIn the event of a class being postponed or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify students in advance and make reasonable efforts to accommodate a new date.
6. Conduct and behaviourStudent conduct: We expect all students to behave respectfully and professionally during
classes. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the class, without a refund.
Classroom etiquette: Please be punctual and respectful of other students’ time and space.
7. LiabilityGeneral liability: While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure your safety, we cannot
be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during the course.
Personal property: Students are responsible for their personal belongings. We are not liable for any lost or stolen property during classes.
8. PrivacyPersonal information: Any personal information provided during enrolment will be kept
confidential and only used for the purpose of course management. We will not share your
information with third parties without your consent.
Photography and video: By attending classes, you consent to photographs and videos being taken for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify us in advance.
9. Changes to terms and conditionsWe reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to students, and the revised terms will apply to all future enrolments.
10. Governing lawThese Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the laws of Australia.
